In 1926, Sri Dundappa Kalaburgi used to sell a unique sweet made of gram flour, jaggery, and groundnut, which was a hit among the locals.
Customer Suggestion
Based on a customer’s suggestion, he started adding edible gum to the ingredients that laid the foundation of Dundappajja Kalaburgi

As days went by, ingredients like top-quality cashew nuts, rai, almonds, dates, pista, and copra…got fried in pure ghee.
